More than 60 budding performers were ‘Shakin’ at the High School Hop’ at our first Grease workshop on Tuesday evening , the 19th June 2018. We were absolutely delighted to welcome 28 new cast members to the group and were astounded at the level of talent in the room.
For two hours, the cast worked extremely hard, learning a demanding dance routine and vocals but, by the end of the evening, we were amazed by what they had achieved. Everyone was buzzing and really excited about coming along again next week.
If you would still like to be a part of the show, but couldn’t make it to the first workshop, we would still love to see you next Tuesday (26th June 2018) at the Performing Arts Centre, Hinchingbrooke School at 7pm for registration with the workshop from 7.30pm until 9.30pm. There is a subscription fee of £3.00. Our next workshop will concentrate on a new number from the show, so don’t worry if you missed the first one.

2019 celebrates the 15th anniversary of Spotlight Productions. The first show that the group ever produced, back in 2005, was Grease (a photo of which is shown on the left, with a link to other photos at the end of this blog post). So, it seems only fitting to perform Grease once again and make it as true to the film as possible.
