Merry Christmas 2023!

As 2023 draws to a close, we would like to take this opportunity to reflect on what has been another great year for Spotlight Productions.

After our sell-out performance of the award-winning musical ‘Anything Goes’ back in April, we have now moved on to rehearsals for our next major production, ‘The Addams Family’, a musical comedy, which is due to be staged next April (more details below).

As always, our cast & crew have truly risen to the challenge and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for their hard work and commitment at rehearsals.

We would like to wish the cast, crew and all of our Spotlight Productions supporters, a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

 

Tickets for ‘The Addams Family’ will go on sale to the public on the 1st January and all of the show details can be found below:

‘Bon Voyage’ to Anything Goes

Spotlight Productions once again delivered that ‘West End’ experience in Huntingdon with it’s outstanding performance of the award-winning Cole Porter Musical, Anything Goes!

The highly talented cast sang, danced and tapped their way through the Musical on the largest set that the group has ever constructed.

The sell-out show was a credit to both cast & crew and resulted in some fantastic audience feedback.

Over the course of 9 months, the scenic construction team & artists built the entire ‘SS American’ in our former storage facility on RAF Alconbury.

Our ‘get-in’ weekend at the theatre consisted of 4 days, starting on Thursday 30th March with AliStage constructing a 40ft wide and 3 level framework for the ship, which was required for our scenery.

The magic then started with our 30 strong team of volunteers creating a set that the ‘West End’ would be proud of.
