As today is valentine’s day I felt it appropriate to share our love of theatre, which we are all sadly missing at this present time.
It has obviously been an incredibly difficult year for everyone involved in performing arts as we have all been hit particularly hard by the pandemic.
Whilst we have been unable to stage live musical theatre performances, we have continued to work hard behind the scenes to ensure that we are in a strong position to once again ‘get the show on the road’.
During the summer when restrictions were eased, we took the opportunity to catalogue our stock of costumes, alongside building and repairing our extensive range of scenery and props.
As we hopefully move out of lockdown, we look forward to working alongside existing and new hirers in supporting their productions.
Whilst as a group we were very disappointed that our production of Oliver had to be cancelled, we still have some exciting projects in the pipeline, with more information to follow shortly.

Hannah Rises to the Challenge
For those of you that follow ‘Spotlight’, you will probably remember Hannah Gingell as Sister Mary Robert in our 2018 production of ‘Sister Act’.
Hannah is now training as a nurse in the Critical Care Unit at the Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge.
During one of her breaks, she went downstairs to play the piano in the main atrium and delivered a heart-warming rendition of ‘Rise Up’ by Andra Day. She is an example of one of many of our Spotlight family involved in the ‘frontline’ during this incredibly difficult period and we would like to thank them all for all their ongoing commitment.
We hope this video will put a smile on your face and spread some positive vibes.
Keep smiling, we’ll get through this together.
